Restrictions
Do not seek out encounters with bears.  Bear spray is intended to be used in an unexpected confrontation with a bear and may not be effective in all situations or prevent all injuries.  Bear spray may only be used to deter bears which are attacking or appear likely to attack humans.  Do not spray bear spray on tents, other objects, or clothing, as this use has no deterrent effect on bears.  Keep the safety clip in place except when practicing or using the product.
Cautions

Read the entire label on the bear spray carefully before taking it into an area where bears may be encountered.  The bear spray has a range of up to 30 feet (9 meters) and will completely empty in approximately four (4) seconds (225g container).

Use with caution.  Contents will cause pain and temporary impairment to eyes, nose, mouth, and lungs.  Individuals who suffer from asthma or emphysema may have a more severe reaction.

Do not eat or allow to be eaten any food or feed materials which may have become contaminated with this product.

Keep out of reach of children.

Return any unused portion of the bear spray (do not dispose of unused portion).

Warnings

Bear spray contains a strong irritant to eyes, nose, and skin.  Wash thoroughly with soap and water after handling.  Bear spray may cause irreversible physical eye damage if sprayed in the eye.  Contact through touching and rubbing eyes may result in substantial, but temporary eye injury.  Avoid contact with skin and clothing.  Wash skin and clothing before reusing.
